Ok, this post isn't as serious as the title reads. Though, to me it just might be! Today I worked outside... A lot. Like, A LOT. :-) And let's just say that it hurt a little. I mowed our lawn, part of the Lucas' lawn, Joe's lawn because he's not home, and Eddie's lawn. Well, the front part of his lawn. Then I had to sweep up all the trimming!!! ::screams:: I have about 38 soon to be blisters on my hands.... not cool...

Wow.........bummer.
*hugs for you and meds for your hands*
;)
Poor you! :-( I got to trim our tree the other day but the only thing that got hurt was the tree! Yard work is a necassary evil...sometimes...sometimes it...oh whatever you get it.
Yes, well, I was happy to do it. Mostly because I get a free bedroom, a free place to practice, free food (unless I REALLY need surgar, in which case I buy it... ::laughs::) And a free shower and bathroom! Not to mention a family. And a place to teach! So, why should I not be willing to do a little chores? So, it was worth it. and my hands still hurt, but, they don't look like their going to blister to bad, thank goodness....
Yeah, I don't enjoy the yard work but I enjoy the family time together and being outside enjoying God's creation.
We girls used to mow our lawn and although we didn't mind so very much most of the time, we did wish for a brother to do it. And then Noah began growing up....and I bet he can really empathize with you. He usually mows 3 lawns regularly and sometimes neighbors hire him to do more. And a few of these are very large yards (no exaggeration)!!! When I did some mowing earlier this Spring I realized that I'm beginning to take all of Noah's labors for granted. I hadn't mowed a lawn in a such a long time!!! I really am thankful for him. :)

P.S. Glad your hands aren't so very bad. I have sympathy for anyone with blisters. My feet tend to blister and when I mowed this spring after ever so long :)) I had blisters on my heels, toes, etc....not fun.
